Crocheted Flower Valance for Kitchen Window

A few weeks ago while browsing Pinterest, I discovered a pattern for a crocheted flower valance. I spent the last week crocheting the 25ish flowers and 4 half-flowers, then a few more hours attaching the petals together with a single crochet in three chain stitches. Here is the result:

I’m thrilled with how it came out in orange and blue for my Auburn University themed kitchen.

The pattern I used was from Robin Sanchez’s Once Upon a Pink Moon blog; she has tutorials for the flowers and half-flowers. The photos made it easy to follow. Thanks, Robin!
